First Day of School

The first day of the school year was fabulous! After a morning welcome back carpool led by our seniors, we were ready for another fantastic school year filled with adventure and lots of opportunities to shine wherever we are! Up Up and Away!

Kindergarten Butterflies

It was a beautiful day for our kindergarten students to say goodbye to their butterfly friends. Each year in the fall, the students learn about monarch caterpillars and how they become butterflies. They also learn about how the  insects migrate to Mexico to survive the winter. Just before the fall weather sets in, students get to release their own butterflies in Bryn Mawr's butterfly garden!

Triple the Spirit

We’ve got spirit, yes we do! Mawrtian Nation had a blast celebrating Triple the Spirit with our tri-school community. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special!

House System Fall Kickoff

Owls, Moons, Suns, Stars and Daisies kicked off the first fun filled House System event of the year with some music and arts and crafts. To all our new students, faculty and staff members, welcome to your house!

Kindergarten's First Owl Gate Visit

In what may be the sweetest start-of-school tradition, each year the kindergarten students take their very first trip to the Owl Gate. Each girl got the chance to walk through the gate and make a wish! This year, the girls also took a trip to Edith Hamilton Library to learn more about Bryn Maw's founders.

Founders Day

This Founders Day, Bryn Mawr celebrated its 134th birthday and the contributions of our talented faculty and staff. Congratulations to our award winners: Justine Khadduri, Kristen Kennedy, Leslie Feinberg, Erin Brooks, Monica Ozuna, Kim Jordan and Kim Yip! Special thanks to everyone who made this day possible, including our awesome faculty band, Edith Jamilton, who turned lunch into an afternoon dance party!
