Billing and Tuition

Bryn Mawr uses Blackbaud Tuition Management for all tuition payments and student billing, which may include Brynmawrket purchases, activities fees, retreats and academic materials/equipment when applicable.

To access your Blackbaud Tuition Management account, log into the Parent Portal and click on the icon in the Resources folder. If you have any questions regarding student, contact the Student Billing Specialist in the Business Office using the Directory below.

Canvas: Parent Instructions

If desired, Middle and Upper School parents can create a Canvas account and pair it with their students' accounts, to have observer-level access to their courses. After creating an account, students must provide their parents with a pairing code. Please watch this video for detailed instructions.

After setting up parental access to their students' Canvas courses, parents should use this link to log in to Canvas.

Dining Services

Bryn Mawr partners with CulinArt Group for dining services to provide food and nourishment to our community. All students in grades 1-12 may bring their own lunch or purchase a daily lunch in the Dining Hall. Lower School students in grades PK-5 will be able to place an advance online order for a pre-set lunch that will either be delivered to the student (PK-K) or picked up in the Dining Hall during lunch period (grades 1-5). Additionally, Bryn Mawr offers fresh fruit and cereal free of charge each morning, with additional breakfast items available to purchase.

We offer a cashless dining system and students can purchase their items via a convenient, pre-paid balance system called MyKidsSpending. You can set up payments using ACH or a credit card online (Note: MyKidsSpending charges a processing fee on all account payments.) Information about setting up an account can be found on the Dining page.

Emergency Notifications

In the event of an on-campus emergency or weather-related closing, Bryn Mawr partners with Ruvna, a campus alert system designed to quickly and efficiently reach out to parents, employees, and community members. Alerts are sent via text and email. This system may be used in conjunction with information posted on our website and local television/radio stations. This is mandatory for all Bryn Mawr families.

Please update your information to ensure you are receiving alerts. Failure to provide current contact information will prevent you from receiving immediate emergency notifications sent by Bryn Mawr.

Under your name in the top right corner, click on Profile
In the Phone section of your profile, confirm that the WIRELESS NUMBER and EMAIL fields are accurate. If you need to update it, click on the pencil icon to the right. This phone number and email will be used to send urgent alerts through Ruvna. (Updating the EMAIL field will only change how your email will appear in the online directory and how you receive Ruvna alerts. If you need to change your Portal login ID, contact techsupport@brynmawrschool.org.)
To personalize your privacy settings, click Settings under your name in the top right corner of the screen. Select which information different users (e.g. parents, employees, nurse, etc) should see about you. If your family needs a babysitter, grandparent or other caretaker to receive Ruvna alerts, email techsupport@brynmawrschool.org.

Health Forms

An important part of your preparation for the school year is the completion of the required health forms and consents for your child through Magnus Health. Your Magnus Health account can be accessed via the Magnus Health link on the Resources tab in the Parent Portal.

Please read the following information carefully:

Your child’s Magnus Student Health Tracker is due on July 1. It is Bryn Mawr's policy that no student will be able to try out for sports, attend retreats or participate in extracurricular activities without all forms, consents and a current physical exam on file with Magnus Health.
Make sure you have either filled out completely (new families) or reviewed and updated (returning families) the Vital Health Record, and that all the electronic consents have been signed.
Check to see that you have uploaded a physical exam that was done within the last 13 months. Bryn Mawr’s policy is that physical exams are submitted annually, due 13 months from the date of the last exam. Once you have uploaded a physical exam for your student, there is no need to upload another until that one expires.
New or updated immunization records are required for the following grades: PK, K, 7 and any student new to Bryn Mawr. If your student is returning and is older than grade 7, you do not need to upload a new record each school year. Bryn Mawr requires that all students receive all vaccines that are recommended by the State of Maryland. Bryn Mawr strongly encourages all eligible students to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. All students are strongly encouraged to receive an annual influenza vaccine. Bryn Mawr does not accept religious exemptions for vaccines.
If your child requires prescription medication to be administered at school, self-carries an Epinephrine Auto Injector or inhaler, or has an Action Plan for any medical condition, a healthcare provider must complete the appropriate form and the form needs to be uploaded to Magnus. Forms may be downloaded from your child’s Student Health Tracker in Magnus.

Textbooks and Supplies

Upper

When do I find out what books I should buy?
Information regarding textbooks for the next school year will be sent to you in late June.

Where do I buy the books?
Upper School textbooks can be purchased online from The Ivy Bookshop. The Bryn Mawr virtual bookstore will open for book purchases for the 2026-2027 school year on Wednesday, July 15.

Once purchased, families will be able to start picking up their orders from The Ivy Bookshop in August. The bookstore is located at 5928 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21209. Shipping is not offered. Families may also purchase books from other vendors.

Should I buy new or used books?
You can buy either--it’s totally up to you.

Upper School School Supplies
The Upper School does not have a general school supply list. In order for teachers to ensure students understand supply needs, teachers will share school supply information for each course in the first week of classes in September. Teachers do not expect students to have specialized supplies when school begins. While there is no general list, we know that students are eager to gather a set of supplies before the first day of school. For the first week, students should have their laptops, a set of pens and pencils, and at least one notebook in which to write. Teachers will clarify expectations around additional supplies, including binders, notebooks, and calculators, and there is flexibility to purchase these items in the first weeks of school. Middle

When do I find out what books I should buy?
Textbooks are purchased in bulk by the school and billed to student accounts. Families who receive financial aid will have appropriate credits applied to their student accounts.

Is there a school supply list I will be receiving?
Families should use the 2026-27 Middle School supplies list to purchase items for their student.

Lower

Technology: Student Requirements

Upper School

The Upper School is on a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program. All students in grades 9-12 are required to bring a Mac or Windows PC laptop of their choice to school for daily use. For more information on laptop requirements and specifications, please refer to this document.

Middle School

Middle School students use Chromebooks as their 1:1 device. Bryn Mawr will configure, issue, and maintain a Chromebook for your students to use for the academic year. A pickup date will be communicated to you in August, when you and your student can pick up your assigned Chromebook. You can find more details in the document below.

There is no need to purchase any technology for Lower School students.

Uniform Guidelines

Bryn Mawr partners with Direct School Uniforms. Sample sizes are available to try on in our school store, the Brynmawrket, along with physical education uniforms, Bryn Mawr sweatshirts, leggings, tights, and other items. The store is open Tuesday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the school year. Some items can also be purchased at the Brynmawrket website. Please refer to the uniform guidelines below.
