Little School Farm Animals Visit

Piglets and ducklings and llamas, oh my! It's always a good time at the Little School, especially when the farm animals come to play. Students had a great morning learning about animals and taking turns to pet and feed them.

Lower School Bring Your Parents to School

The Lower School put a twist on "Bring Your Child to Work" day, and hosted two fun “Bring Your Parent to School” mornings! Students had the opportunity to show parents where they work and play, and introduce them to their teachers.

Little School Author's Tea

The Little School Author's Tea is a highlight anticipated by the oldest Little School students. After learning about the writing process, students get to write and illustrate an orginal story (with a little help from their teachers), which they present to an audience of parents and teachers during the event. The cute factor was through the roof, but the real learning behind it is exceptional. Between the drawing skills and imaginative storytelling, who knows, the next great authour might be right on campus! A big thank you to Eliza Adams, Suzanne Pugh and Elena Napolitano for hosting a fantastic afternoon at the Little School!

2nd Grade Oral History Projects

As Women's History Month came to a close, the second grade Biography Fair celebrated notable women from history. Each student researched and wrote an essay on a different woman, and at the end of the project, they dressed up and gave an oral presentation to fellow students. Such a great way to honor the past, inform the present and inspire the future generation of female leaders!

Third Grade Greek Myth Play

Congratulations to the third grade on a spectacular Greek Myth Play! This year marks the 40th annual production of one of our favorite Lower School traditions.

Second Grade Pioneer Picnic

The second grade had a great time dressing up, eating a picnic lunch with their families and showing off the songs and line dances they have been learning at this year's Pioneer Picnic! The picnic is the culmination of their unit on the Oregon Trail.

Little School St.Patrick's Day

From learning Irish Step Dancing and making crafts to hunting for leprechauns, Little School students had a very festive St.Patrick's Day

5th Grade Spring Performance

Fifth grade students shared their creativity in their annual spring performance. This year's show, "The Little Pine Tree" focused on loving yourself and being who you are, a great message for people of all ages!  With artwork guided by Ms. Arnot and music and dance learned in music class with Ms. Puckett, it was a fabulous show.  Congratulations to the entire team!
