Alumnae Board Members
Alumnae Board members meet monthly to hear updates from the school, offer strategic guidance, and plan meaningful alumnae engagement programs. Through its work and programming, the Alumnae Board supports alumnae in connecting with the school, with current students, and with one another in order to provide opportunities for alumnae to network and support the school.
Alumnae Class Captain
Class Captains help the Development Office in the solicitation of classmates who are being asked to contribute gifts to The Fund for Bryn Mawr.
Alumnae Class Captains are asked to: approve language for appeals, recruit classmates to help with solicitation outreach, serve as an ambassador to communicate the purpose of The Fund for Bryn Mawr with conviction to other alumnae, and make their own gift to The Fund for Bryn Mawr.
Alumnae regional ambassadors help connect alumnae within a region and provide opportunities for alumnae outside of the Baltimore region to stay connected with the school.
Reunion Committee Members
Reunion committee members encourage participation in reunion giving as well as in reunion events on Alumnae Weekend.
During the summer prior to their reunion year, Reunion committee members help the Development Office update class contact information, brainstorm ideas for their class gathering, and set the reunion gift effort into motion. In the fall, efforts focus on raising money towards the class’s reunion gift, and in the spring the committee turns its focus to planning a class gathering to occur during Alumnae Weekend.
Social Media Advocate
Social Media Advocates make an impact at Bryn Mawr by encouraging their classmates, family and friends to support the school’s fundraising efforts. Through our social fundraising platform, Advocates help spread the word about giving campaigns such as Daisy Day by adding their own story to the campaign and helping other donors’ gifts go further. Advocates can even track how many clicks, gifts, and dollars their outreach is driving in real time!
