Second Grade Summer Reading

Welcome to the Second Grade!

Each rising second grader is strongly encouraged to read, either alone or with someone older, a minimum of three books. Here are some authors and series we think you’ll enjoy. This list includes poetry, chapter books and picture books. We Need Diverse Books and Goodreads are also great sources of books to read anytime. Please record on the attached reading log all books that you read alone and that are read to you. Audio books are also good.
