Students will be taught in grade-specific classes

This program will reinforce reading and writing skills acquired in the previous grade. Each student will have the opportunity to improve her writing skills through the drafting and revision of both critical and creative writing. Critical thinking and vocabulary skills will be revisited using a required summer reading book. Small group conversations, one-on-one writing workshops, and independent reading assignments will build each girl’s confidence and ability to succeed in her fall English class.
The Middle School Summer Warm-Up Courses will begin on Monday, August 12 and run through Tuesday, August 20.  We are excited to offer these courses on campus; there will be no virtual or hybrid option.  Below, please find important information to help you prepare for the program:

What to wear: Casual summer clothing for indoor and outdoor comfort (uniforms not required).

What to bring/have available: Your summer math workbook and/or reading books, lined paper, pen/pencil, a mask (optional), water bottle, a laptop, and a lunch/snack if staying for two classes.  (There will be some snack items available to purchase in our Brynmawrket, which will be open starting August 12.)
