Bazaar

Bazaar Event Information

It’s time for the annual BMS Bazaar! This year’s Bazaar will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020, from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m rain or shine (help us with a little sunshine dance)! We hope you plan to attend this fun-filled event with your family. There will be a large variety of rides, games, and activities for everyone to enjoy. NEW this year we will have food trucks, face painting, family Zumba and a Coffee House! Be sure to check it all out and join our community of families for this Bryn Mawr tradition. Remember, rides, games and food are cash or check only

Gently used uniforms and books are currently being collected.  Drop off any of your uniform items, books, CDs and DVDs in the Lower School and Northern Parkway carpool circles. We have bins set up for your convenience now through May 1. You may also drop off at any time in the Gordon Building. 
 
Volunteers Needed
Have an hour to spare? Support the 2020 Bazaar by volunteering at one of our many stations.  We depend on parent support to run the games, tickets stands and more.  Sign up here. Your help is very much appreciated to make the day run smoothly; we can't do it without you!

Wristband Sales
Wristbands will be available for advanced sale for $15 beginning April 1st at the Lower School, Little School and Bryn Mawrket. Click here for more information. Wristbands at the event are $20 so be sure to save and get yours in advance.

Country Store
Calling all bakers! We need your delicious homemade baked goods to sell at the Country Store! Goodies and treats will be collected on May 1st, between 7:45 and 8:15am in the Lower School and Northern Parkway morning drop off circles. Or, you can bring them to the Gordon Building on May 1st (second floor) at any time. Click here and tell us what kind of sweet treats we can count on you to bring!

Recycled Uniform Sale
Uniforms at severely discounted prices! Doors open at 8am in the the Gatehouse.  The sale will end around 12pm. We are also accepting your old uniforms! Please drop off from March 24th to May 1st in the Gordon Building, Northern Parkway Circle and Lower School carpool line.  To volunteer Click here.

Book Nook
Clear out your library and Marie Kondo your home! We are accepting all your JOY in the form of gently used books, DVDs and CDs through April 30th. Drop off in your carpool circles or at the Gordon Building. Your volunteer time is also appreciated at the event. Click here to sign up and assist at the Bazaar Book Nook. No literary experience required!

Vendors

Are you crafty or artsy? We are always looking for parents and community members to join us on Vendor Row. Showcase your goods and talents at our event. For a small, flat contribution to our scholarship fund, we provide the canopy and table, you bring your items. You keep all your profit. For more information on how to arrange a vendor table, contact segallm@brynmawrschool.org.

Raffles

Back by popular demand are the raffle grade baskets. Spearheaded by Class Parents, each grade is responsible for assembling one complete basket based on their assigned theme. Themes include: baking, beach, picnic, date night, sports and more! Prizes and creativity are amazing, you won't want to miss this popular attraction in front of the Howell Building. $2 per ticket. Cash or check only. In addition, we will have a few high value bonus baskets this year so be sure to take a look! All proceeds benefit the BMS Scholarship Fund. 

Parking Info

On campus parking – parking will be available on Melrose Ave. and Northern Parkway Drive on a first come, first serve basis. The Little School circle will be reserved for handicap parking only. The Lower School drive and parking lot will be reserved for Development Office Guests.

Off campus site – Gilman School parking facilities will be available throughout the day.

Neighborhood parking – All neighborhood streets will have restricted parking. Cars may park on one side of the street only. Posted signs will designate restrictions. Illegally parked cars will be towed.

To assist with parking, security will be posted on Stony Run, Melrose Ave., the Lower School drive, Little School circle, Gilman, and Northern Parkway drive.
