  • Cross-Divisional Art Show Reception

  • Our Town

    "Our Town" is presented with special permission from Samuel French Described by Edward Albee as "...the greatest American play ever written," the story follows the people of Grover's Corners through three acts: "Daily Life," "Love and Marriage," and "Death and Eternity." Narrated by stage managers and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually—in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre—die. In Bryn Mawr's student-led adaptation, we will be incorporating original multimedia work and contemporary costuming.

  • Lion King, Jr. - MS Musical

    The Bryn Mawr Middle School presents the much-loved "Lion King" to our stage in a stunning production of "Lion King Jr.," performing March 4, 5, and 6. The musical adaptation of the hit Disney movie has been scaled to an appropriate level for middle school performers and is sure to be a treat for all ages! Featuring familiar songs from the movie such as “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “The Circle of Life,” it also features songs from the Broadway show such as “Shadowland” and “He Lives in You.”

    Legally Blonde The Musical brings the much-loved movie to life with great songs and lots of dance.  We make the journey to Harvard with our pink-attired heroine, Elle Woods, as she encounters challenges, questions stereotypes, and embraces self-discovery.  How easy it is to judge others by first appearances, but as the story advances we see Elle bring her own unique skills to benefit a wide circle of characters. Legally Blonde The Musical showcases strong roles for our female performers and includes a great cast of Upper School students from Bryn Mawr and boys from Gilman, and other area schools.

  • Pitch Perfect

    The Bryn Mawr varsity softball team finishes the season 17-0, claiming the IAAM B Conference title.

    It was the beginning of May, and Bryn Mawr Varsity Softball Head Coach James Brown was in a place that, in more than 18 years of coaching, he had never been before. His team had finished the regular season a perfect 14-0 – a mark that no Bryn Mawr softball team had ever achieved. Now, they headed into the tournament as the favorites. However, they were almost sure to face Chapelgate Christian Academy, the only team that had very nearly beaten them. Could the Mawrtians hold on to their perfect season?
