We are so grateful to the generous donors who help support the mission of our school.
Your gift makes it possible for Bryn Mawr to continue to provide an exceptional foundation that allows young women to go on to lead remarkable lives. A gift to the Annual Fund is the very best way to maintain Bryn Mawr’s standards of excellence, attract and retain the very best students and faculty, and continue the school’s longstanding reputation of inspiring passion for intellectual curiosity.

This year’s Annual Fund goal is $1.39 million.

Without the generous philanthropic support of alumnae, parents, grandparents, corporations, foundations, and friends we would not be able to provide the quality of education that is the cornerstone of the Bryn Mawr experience. Thanks to donors like you, The Bryn Mawr School can continue to:

  • Foster a love for learning for new generations of Bryn Mawr girls
  • Provide promising teachers with professional development dollars to obtain an advanced degree
  • Build and sustain an excellent athletics program
  • Inspire future scientists through intensive laboratory work
  • Introduce young girls to the arts
  • Support new student initiatives in community service
  • Fund speakers for the year in each division
  • Maintain the architectural integrity and beauty of the school's buildings and grounds

Gifts made by December 31 provide maximum benefit to our students and overall academic programs. Make a gift online now! The Annual Fund opens on July 1 and closes on May 31 of each year.

The Founders Circle

The Bryn Mawr School was founded in 1885 by five young women with a unique vision: to provide girls with an exceptional and vigorous education. Eschewing traditional beliefs, M. Carey Thomas, Mary Elizabeth Garrett, Mamie Gwinn, Bessie Tabor King and Julia Rebecca Rogers gave girls the chance to thrive in a supportive, yet challenging, environment.

The Founders Circle, Bryn Mawr’s Annual Fund leadership giving recognition society, is inspired by these bold and generous women.

Please consider joining The Founders Circle with a gift of $1,500 or more. To become a member of the Founders Circle click here.
