The Fund for Bryn Mawr

We are so grateful to the generous donors who help support the mission of our school.
The Fund for Bryn Mawr is the School’s annual giving campaign. Gifts to The Fund for Bryn Mawr provide the flexible, immediate support that helps to attract and retain the best faculty, provide for state-of-the-art technology and materials, and sustain a talented and diverse student body. This vital support provides a measurable difference between a good experience and an exceptional one.

A gift to The Fund for Bryn Mawr is the very best way to maintain Bryn Mawr’s standards of excellence and continue the school’s longstanding reputation of inspiring passion for intellectual curiosity. This year, our goal is to raise $1.4 million dollars through The Fund for Bryn Mawr for our girls and their teachers.

Your gifts to The Fund for Bryn Mawr support the school’s growing programmatic needs in all areas. The Fund for Bryn Mawr strengthens and sustains the educational experience of Bryn Mawr students and teachers each and every day. Under the umbrella of The Fund for Bryn Mawr, donors may choose to direct gifts to the particular area of the school’s operational budget that they find most meaningful and make a significant difference for our students and teachers.

  • Area of Greatest Need - With an unrestricted gift, you allow the school to use your gift where it is most needed. These funds will be used to support students, faculty and staff, and programs in the following areas.
  • Faculty Support - Faculty members, coaches, and mentors are the heart of a Bryn Mawr education. Support of this fund offers opportunities for professional growth and advancement, ensuring that faculty continue to learn, explore their intellectual curiosities, and bring new ideas to our students and curriculum.
  • Financial Aid - Annual gifts to the financial aid fund provide assistance to students whose families demonstrate need and would otherwise not be able to attend Bryn Mawr, enabling us to enroll a talented, motivated, and diverse student population.
  • Academics – Cutting-edge technology and the supplies and resources available to students both inside the classroom enrich the learning experience and provide the essential skills needed to flourish in the world. Outside the classroom, gifts supplement expenses for field trips and class retreats, as well as visiting artists and external speakers on a variety of topics.
  • Athletics - Gifts provide support for the athletic program, including equipment, uniforms, field maintenance, and travel for all athletic teams, promoting opportunities for healthy competition, exercise, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Arts - Gifts enhance opportunities for students in the visual and performing arts, including ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography and film, sculpture, theatre productions, costume and set design, music, and voice.
  • Little School – Gifts to The Little School Tuition Assistance Fund – a special earmark within The Bryn Mawr School’s annual giving campaign – offers grants to qualified Little School families each year and enables their children to benefit from being students.
Gifts made by December 31 provide maximum benefit to our students and overall academic and extracurricular programs. The Fund for Bryn Mawr runs on the school’s fiscal year calendar starting on July 1 and closing on May 31 each year.
