Flannery ’25

When did you come to Bryn Mawr?
I started at BMS in sophomore year!

What drew you to Bryn Mawr?
I chose Bryn Mawr mainly because of the student diversity. Racial diversity was definitely a large factor in comfortability for me, but the added bonuses of interest, sports and background diversity made me even more excited about the upcoming years.

What are you involved in on campus?
I am involved in cross country, the Bridges program, Spring Track and Field, Model Congress, Model UN, Black Student Union, the Empty Bowls Committee and an upcoming Student Leadership Diversity Conference!

What is your favorite thing about Bryn Mawr?
One of my favorite things about Bryn Mawr is how open the campus is - when the weather is nice, especially in the spring, everyone is outside playing spikeball, tanning, snacking, or just enjoying each others’ company. I’ve had some of my best memories at Bryn Mawr eating and laughing with my friends outside.

What is your favorite Bryn Mawr tradition?
My favorite Bryn Mawr tradition would definitely have to be spirit days. Everyone dressed up and excited about Bryn Mawr and our different Houses is such a good bonding experience.

What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class is for sure history-I love how history at Bryn Mawr is largely discussion based, so I’m able to learn more about my favorite topics through a different lens and ask questions about what is important to me.

Favorite spot on campus?
My favorite place on campus is definitely the quad. When it's super sunny, I love to lay out in the chairs with my friends and eat lunch or get some work done during a free period.
