Bryn Mawr's Board and Strategic Planning Task Force is hosting an important conversation about Bryn Mawr's future with alumnae who are currently in college: What Girls Need in the 21st Century. The lunchtime forum will start at 11:45am before the Thanksgiving Convocation. All college-age alumnae are welcome to attend.
Following brief opening remarks from Headmistress Maureen Walsh, we will discuss the following two questions:
- What skills/capabilities do you believe a young Bryn Mawr alumna needs to thrive in a complex, contemporary, global world?
- From your perspective, did Bryn Mawr balance well the demands of learning with the delights of the learning process? If so, what do you view as the keys to that balance? If not, what could the school have done better/differently?
We welcome thoughts and ideas about these topics that will help guide our thinking throughout Bryn Mawr's strategic planning process. The lunch and conversation will be one hour so that alumnae have time to visit their former teachers before Thanksgiving Convocation.
Must be 21 or older to attend. Appetizers included. One free drink ticket per person!
