After School Programs

At Bryn Mawr, the learning and fun continue, even after the school day. Our after school programs for Middle and Lower School students allow girls to dive into a new hobby, take advantage of enrichment opportunities or simply play with friends and tackle their homework in a supportive environment.

Lower School Extended Day

The Extended Day Program runs from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday for pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students.

Gateways Enrichment

Gateways programs are after school enrichment activities for Lower and Middle School students. Bryn Mawr offers three sessions of Gateways programs (fall, winter and spring) with approximately ten class options during each season.

Middle School Supervision

Afternoon Supervision for Middle School students is available from 3:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily in the William and Susanne Eck ’49 Higinbothom Hall.

Dance School

The Dance School at Bryn Mawr offers afternoon dance classes in ballet and jazz to children from kindergarten through grade eight.

Music School

The Music School at Bryn Mawr offers students music lessons with exceptional teachers in a range of instruments, including strings, flute, piano, clarinet, brass and vocal. Individual lessons, which include opportunities for performance, are available at all levels.
