Bryn Mawr Announces Maryland STEM Fair Keynote Speaker

Bryn Mawr is excited to announce WBAL-TV Meteorologist Ava Marie as the keynote speaker for the sixth annual Maryland STEM Career Fair for Girls.
Ava Marie is the morning meteorologist at WBAL-TV, and has been forecasting in Maryland for seven years. Before coming to Maryland, she worked as a broadcaster at AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from the University of Kansas. Ava’s love of weather began when she was a little girl growing up in Denver, Colorado, a place known for its extreme snowstorms and thunderstorms. 

The STEM Career Fair for Girls will be held on October 13, 2018 from 9:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
