Librarian Patti Rickert-Wilbur organized a faculty and staff book discussion on the novel Sourdough, complete with a virtual visit by author Robin Sloan.
Rickert-Wilbur says the group enjoyed a fascinating discussion. In addition to being a successful author, Sloan and his partner make olive oil and he is also coding a video game.
Sourdough, which The Atlantic calls "one of the more cogent novels this year on the fertile tensions that exist between culture and technology," is Sloan's second novel.
