  • Mini Med School

    Girls and boys entering grades K-2

    Brought to you by Little Scholars
    Is there a doctor in camp? Join us this summer as we bring Mini Med School to camp! Our little doctors will use stuffed animal patients to take blood pressure readings, give “stitches,” put on a cast and make their own first aid kit, all while learning lots about what doctors, dentists, EMTs and other medical professionals do on a daily basis. Join us in this fun filled camp.

  • Mad Science

    Girls and boys entering grades K-3

    If you love getting messy and trying out new experiments, this is the camp for you. We will make slime, create homemade volcanoes, and mix up lots of interesting concoctions in the Science Center. Come try your hands at some awesome science exploration!

  • Cooking Around the World

    Girls and boys entering grades 2-5

    Director: Elizabeth Gray, Lower School World Languages, The Bryn Mawr School
    Get ready for a trip around the world! In this hands-on cooking class, we will explore a different area of the world each day and try out recipes from that region. At the end of the week, you will be able to take home a cookbook with all of the recipes we cooked throughout the week.

  • Escape Rooms

    Girls and boys entering grades 3-5

    Director: Elizabeth Gray, Lower School World Languages, The Bryn Mawr School
    If you are creative and love solving puzzles, this is the camp for you. “Escape rooms” are popping up all over the country allowing participants to put their creative problem solving skills to the test. In this camp, students will work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and figure out a way to break out of “escape rooms” each day. They will also build their own escape room challenges.

  • The Stories Behind the Stars

    Girls and boys entering grades 3-5

    Have you ever looked up and marveled at the night sky? In this camp we will learn about a variety of constellations. Students will discover the stories behind the constellations and how to recognize them. Come let your imagination run wild!

  • Kitchen Chemistry

    Girls and boys entering grades 4-6

    Have you ever marveled at a lava lamp, written a message in invisible ink, or used the sun’s powers to grow crystal spikes? All of these are made possible through chemical reactions. Become a scientist and discover how these and many more amazing reactions work in this hands-on chemistry camp.

  • Inventor's Lab

    Girls and boys entering grades 4-7

    Director: Sophie Richards, Middle School Science, The Bryn Mawr School
    In this exciting, hands-on camp, you will discover how much fun science and engineering can be! Through a STEM approach, we will investigate scientific principles and explore various types of engineering through design and building challenges. You will construct littleBits circuits, create chemical reactions, reverse engineer a camera, and print using a 3D printer. Throughout the week, you will learn and practice the engineering design process and discover the science behind circuits, forces and energy. Come join us for a week of creative exploration and discovery!

  • Messy Camp

    Girls & Boys entering grades 4-7

    Instructor: Sophie Richards, Middle School Science, The Bryn Mawr School
    Do you like to make slime? How about painting with your toes? If so, Messy Camp is the place for you! We will play games with paint, construct towers with food, throw water balloons and create many types of slime. Join us for a fun and exciting camp where you will make a lot of mess all week!

  • Introduction to Drones

    Girls and boys entering grades 6-8

    Director: Kate Brendler, Middle School Science Teacher, The Bryn Mawr School
    Earn your honorary drone pilot wings! Campers will learn to assemble, fly, and race their own quadcopter drones, and examine the engineering principles that make them fly. Activities will include scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, hide and seek, and other outdoor games. Campers will take home their own practice drones at the end of the week to show off their skills!
