    Creative Workshop - S1

Director: Frannie Morrissey, Kindergarten Teacher, Friends School (Girls entering grades K–6)

Creative Workshop has thrived for more than 45 years in Baltimore. What’s our magic of success? We offer a wonderful mix of arts and crafts, sewing, drama, cooking, music and creative games every day. Your daughter’s imagination will soar as she chooses among various opportunities throughout her experiences with us each week. Each session includes a performer, Surprise Day, Clash Day, and a performance by the campers for families and friends on the last Friday of the each session. Friendships endure from summer to summer and new friendships begin each year. Before you know it, your camper will grow up to become one of our enthusiastic and valuable counselors!

    Reverse Engineering: S2

Director: Kristen Kennedy, Upper School Computer Science Teacher, The Bryn Mawr School

Join us in the Innovation Lab and Middle School Maker Space this summer for backwards engineering and creation. This week-long course will explore how to engineer smart machines from common household appliances and everyday items. Through tinkering, basic 3D printing and building, we will put a spin on some existing products and create new inventions.

    All-American Pet

Director: Christine Rogers, Third Grade Teacher, The Bryn Mawr School (Girls entering grades PF–6)

Calling all pet lovers! If your daughter adores her stuffed animals, this is the camp for her. Each camper will receive their choice of a new posable, authentic American GirlTM Pet. Campers will create a variety of fun-filled craft activities for their new pet. During the week, their pets might celebrate a birthday, grill hot dogs, swim by the lake or camp out in a tent.

    Design the Runway

Brought to The Bryn Mawr School by Little Scholars

Design your very own fashion line with us! Budding designers will create a fashion portfolio, create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece with recyclable goods and end the week with a runway show. We will participate in several design challenges. Come design your own runway!

    Field Hockey

Director: Allie Emala ’07, Physical Education Teacher and Head of Girls Lacrosse, Poly Prep, Brooklyn, NY (Girls entering grades 5-8)

    Toys In Motion

Director: Chris Miskiewicz, Little School Teacher, The Bryn Mawr School (Girls & Boys entering K-4)

This summer we will use science, technology, engineering and math to reanimate our old toys and create a fun cause-and-effect machine. Students will work together to sketch out the machine and determine what they want it to accomplish, build the machine, test it along the way, and finally film it in action!
