Bloom: How We Shine

Meet three students who were featured in the Winter 2020 issue of Bloom for using their unique skills to shine at Bryn Mawr and beyond. 
 
At Bryn Mawr, girls are encouraged to shine wherever they are. Our students pursue their passions on and off campus, and learn to balance academics, extracurricular activities, arts and athletics. Trinity Eimer '20, Lillie Miller '24 and Brielle Jones '31 share their stories with Bloom. 

Trinity Eimer '20
When senior Trinity Eimer became a Bryn Mawr student in ninth grade, she didn’t fully understand the common school saying, “Bold voices.” But last September, as she stood in front of Baltimore City Hall, bullhorn in hand, leading the call for action against climate change, Trinity says she realized “bold voices” is more than just a catchphrase.

Brielle Jones '31
First grader Brielle Jones embodies the phrase “tiny, but mighty.” When you see the sweet seven-year-old on the playground, you’d never guess that she’s a first degree black belt in Taekwondo, a Korean martial art form characterized by head-height kicks and backflips. But Brielle does exactly that.

Lillie Miller '24
Eighth grader Lillie Miller is stacking success at record speeds. Lillie is a nationally-ranked cup stacking champion who also excels at dice stacking and Rubik’s Cube solving. If you’re not familiar with sport stacking, you’ve got to see it to believe it.
