Upper School Musical: "Legally Blonde"

Centennial Hall
Legally Blonde The Musical

Bryn Mawr Upper School Musical
Performances: Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23, 24 at 7pm and Sunday, Oct. 25 at 3pm

Thank you to all who attended the Legally Blonde Musical and to our wonderful cast and crew for a job well done.

EMMETT. Elle, didn’t your mother ever teach you about not judging a book by its cover?
ELLE. She did… Emmett, this isn’t a perfect world. Think people haven’t judged me my whole life?

Legally Blonde The Musical brings the much-loved movie to life with great songs and lots of dance.  We make the journey to Harvard with our pink-attired heroine, Elle Woods, as she encounters challenges, questions stereotypes, and embraces self-discovery.  How easy it is to judge others by first appearances, but as the story advances we see Elle bring her own unique skills to benefit a wide circle of characters. Legally Blonde The Musical showcases strong roles for our female performers and includes a great cast of Upper School students from Bryn Mawr and boys from Gilman, and other area schools.

This comedy-driven musical does explore some mature themes and includes both innuendo and strong language comparable to the original movie.
