Wellesley College Virtual Programs

This fall, Wellesley College will host two virtual programs for students interested in learning more about the school. In standing with Wellesley’s commitment to educating women who will make a difference in the world, both programs will provide students the opportunity to develop the skills of effective leadership while also discovering the power of a Wellesley education.

VOICE—Wellesley’s College Access Program
When: October 1 - 2, 2022
Who: High school seniors from historically underrepresented cultural backgrounds, including first-generation college-going students
What: VOICE is all about a Vision of the future made better, Ownership of your place in the world, building a commitment to Inclusivity and a sense of Community, and centering Equity in all that you do. Students will attend virtual sessions about the power of using their VOICE, the rewards and challenges of being a student leader, and the importance of equity in the fight for change.
How: To attend, students should submit an unofficial high school transcript and a short personal essay. For priority consideration, students should apply by July 20, 2022. The application will remain open until September 14, 2022. More information can be found on the VOICE website.

AMPLIFY—Wellesley’s Leadership Series
When: October 16, 2022
Who: Junior and senior students
What: AMPLIFY is all about amplifying your voice, redefining leadership, and empowering change. Students will attend sessions on practicing “Leadership with a Lowercase ‘L’” and hear from Wellesley faculty, staff, and students about the journey toward effective leadership.
How: No application required. Registration forthcoming. More information can be found on the AMPLIFY website.
