I celebrated a visit to my son in New Zealand by going zip-lining--great fun! Need for a hip replacement made 70th Reunion impossible, alas. The operation and PT were successful, and I'm back in action again here in California.

Hello, dear friends from the Class of 1948!
This is the first time I've been able to "submit a note": the last time, my foreign address seemed to upset the system. I learned of the death of Lawrie Demuth and wondered whether any of you might have her daughter Dede Acer's address, for I'd like to write her a note. Apparently she lives in Pittsburgh. Except for the usual advanced-age problems, Michel and I are doing well. Our oldest granddaughter, Claire Benoist, has just been married in NYC, and she and her husband Derek will also be having a celebration in France in a few weeks - fortunately for us! My affectionate thoughts to you all.
