    We are seeking a Director of Advancement Services, a new position in the Development Office. Working as a member of the Development Office, with a $4M dollar annual fundraising goal, and reporting to the Director of Development, the Director of Advancement Services will support the major gift fundraising work of the Development Office. She/He is responsible for prospect research, reporting, moves management and stewardship support for all constituencies.   • Director of Student Support Services/Upper School Counselor

    The Director of Student Support Services/Upper School Counselor provides leadership and professional expertise in implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that promotes community wellness and enhances student learning. The Director of Student Support Services will oversee and engage in a school-wide, team approach with colleagues, students and parents to guide student support and to foster wellness programs with a shared view of academic, cognitive, social and emotional perspectives. The Upper School Counselor responds to personal, social and emotional needs of students in grades 9 - 12, manages crisis situations, and establishes and implements educational and preventive services for students, parents, and faculty. This is a 10 month position.

    The Director of Student Support Services/Upper School Counselor performs under the general direction of the Head of School and under the supervision of the Associate Head of School. He/she collaborates closely with the Upper School Director.

  • Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach

    The Bryn Mawr School is seeking a Head Varsity Field Hockey Coach. Qualified candidates should have 1-2 years coaching experience; playing experience and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates should possess excellent organization and communication skills. The head varsity coach is responsible for planning and attending all practices and matches, communicating with parents and students, motivating athletes, organizing and use of equipment, driving mini buses to away matches, attending pre and post season league coaches meetings and post season banquet. Practices are from 3:30-5:30 PM Mondays through Fridays. There is an average of 2 games per week. The field hockey season begins in August 15th and concludes in the beginning of November, there is some travel involved for away games. This position reports regularly to the Director of Athletics. This is a paid, part-time position and a background check is required.

Practices are from 3:30-5:15 PM Mondays through Fridays. There is an average of 2 games per week at 5:15/5:30 PM. The lacrosse season begins in mid February and concludes in the beginning of May. This position reports regularly to the Director of Athletics. This is a paid, part-time position and a background check is required.
