Captains Corner: Golf

This year's golf captains discuss their goals for the team.
What are your teams' goals this year?

We're out to win championships this year. We think we'll stack up well against the other teams in the conference and provide an even more competitive challenge during the regular season and tournament.

What are your teams' strengths?

While we are a fairly young team with only 2 seniors and 1 junior compared to 1 sophomore and 4 freshmen, we have a strong and experienced top 4, with a lot of potential for success and development from our younger players.

What is the most difficult part about being a captain?

The most difficult part about being a captain for golf is trying to create a team atmosphere since golf is an individual sport, but playing in pairs against other schools helps to create the feeling that you are playing for Bryn Mawr and working as a team with the other BMS pairings.

What are you looking forward to in the rest of the season?

We're looking forward to the start of our matches to get a feel of how we actually compare to other teams and getting to play on the courses.
