Captains Corner: JV Lacrosse

JV lacrosse team captains discuss their team goals.
What are your teams' goals this year?

Our team is a very new team, so this year we wanted to focus on good teamwork. Another one of our goals was to be in the very best shape which is why we conditioned every day of the pre season. Although it was tough at the time, it definitely has paid off now that we are beginning to compete against other teams.

What are your teams' strengths?

Although we have only had a few games, I think it is clear that our team is very strong technically in terms of stickwork and ball control. Thus, in practice we are able to focus on organizing plays and working on team defense.

What is the most difficult part about being a captain?

The most difficult part about being a captain is finding the balance between being a good leader and a good listener.

What are you looking forward to in the rest of the season?

Growing stronger so that we continue to not lose games.
