    Girls and boys entering grades K-5

    NEW this year! Start your summer off right with a week full of fun at Bryn Mawr. We'll mix it up with arts and crafts, sports and PE games, outdoor fun and water play. Lunch and snacks are included. Pre-Summer week is for girls and boys.

  • Badminton Camp

    Girls entering grades 6-12

    Director: Steven Page, Varsity Badminton Coach, The Bryn Mawr School
    For middle through high school students looking to sharpen their skills and improve as badminton players. This camp will go over the basics of grip, footwork and technique while tailoring instruction to the individual’s skill level. More advanced instruction will include tactics for play and multi-shuttle feeding exercises. Physical fitness and good-sportsmanship will be goals for everyone.

    Girls entering grades 2-8

    Get ready to play some basketball (in our newly air conditioned KVB gym)! This exciting camp will teach campers effective game strategies while improving their skills and techniques. Girls will be grouped by age and ability.

  • Dance Camp!

    Girls and boys entering grades K-10

    Christina Monteleone, Dance Instructor and Arts Program Manager, The Bryn Mawr School
    This camp will explore all different types of dance styles and the way our bodies move. A ballet and jazz class will be held each day, and a third dance class will be held in alternating styles (hip hop, musical theater, lyrical, stretch/conditioning, and creative). This camp will include dance-inspired games, arts and crafts, and clips of professional works based on developmental appropriateness. We will talk about the shapes we can make with our bodies and specific musical elements that create unique styles of dance.

    Girls and boys entering grades K-3

    Come move your body and express yourself! Students will be using different forms of expressive dance to display various emotions. We’ll have some fun listening and moving to several music both dance and music) while being exposed to several music genres

  • Field Hockey & Lacrosse Combo Camp

    Girls entering grades 1-4

    Director: Bridget Danko, BMS alumnae ‘16 and Marquette University Lacrosse Player
    Girls will learn the rules of play, develop skills and make new friends while practicing the techniques and strategies that will prepare them for future competitive play in these two sports.

    Girls entering grades 5-8

    Campers will receive individualized skill instruction and learn strategies for effective team play with area high school and college players. All levels are welcome.

    Girls entering grades 4-8

    Instructor: Brooke Matthews, Assistant Athletic Director & Varsity Lacrosse Coach, The Byrn Mawr School
    This camp is about developing basic to more advanced skills and fundamentals in order to become a strong lacrosse player. Emphasis will be placed on stick work, game concepts and position-specific techniques, as well as having fun! Girls will be grouped by age and ability.

  • Lights, Camera, DANCE!

    Girls and boys entering grades 3-5

    Director: Jenny Parrott and Emily Tankersley: MS, US and Dance School faculty, The Bryn Mawr School
    Ms. Parrott and Ms. Tankersley are excited to work with young students in developing and producing their own dance production. From costuming to choreography, from props to production, from directing to poster making, students will be guided in the art of creating and producing their very own dance performance from start to finish. Campers will have the opportunity to try out many of the different roles in production, including director, choreographer, marketing genius and set designer. Families will be invited for a spectacular showing on the last day of camp.

  • PeeWee Tennis

    Girls and boys ages 4-8

    Director: Tilly Taborda-Almaguer, Varsity Tennis Coach, The Bryn Mawr School
    Pee Wee Tennis and 8 & Under Tennis is for boys and girls is taught by Bryn Mawr’s varsity tennis coach and Little School parent Tilly Taborda-Almaguer. The goal is to build passion for the game! Lessons work on hand/eye coordination, agility, and the introduction of tennis skills in a fun environment. The size of the net is tailored for your young aspiring tennis player to build confidence and success. Spaces are limited. Paying for a full session will guarantee players spot from week to week. Rain make-up (2 max) will happen at the end of each session.

    This camp is for children who love playing games, want to learn about different sports and also enjoy creative projects. We’ll have lessons on sports such as tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball, lacrosse and work on skills like throwing and catching. We’ll also have time for fun P.E.-style games and the opportunity to express our creativity through a variety of art projects.

  • Yoga Camp (K-3)

    Girls and boys entering grades K-3

    Instructor: Lisa Warren, Certified Yoga Instructor and LS World Languages, The Bryn Mawr School
    Students will start to learn about controlling their breath and bodies. Poses are taught through music, imagination, and play, and stories and props are sure to make an appearance! During these classes, kids will talk about the world and nature through a wide variety of yoga postures and activities. Students will even have a chance to practice some partner poses! Each day will feature a yoga-related craft or project.
