    Get ready for a trip around the world! In this hands-on cooking class, we will explore a different area of the world each day and try out recipes from that region. At the end of the week, you will be able to take home a cookbook with all of the recipes we cooked throughout the week.

    Come celebrate 50 years of Creative Workshop in Baltimore! Continue the tradition of this storied program that offers girls a wonderful mix of arts and crafts, sewing, drama, cooking, music and creative games. Your daughter’s imagination will soar as she chooses among various opportunities throughout the program. Each session includes a performer, Surprise Day, Clash Day, and a performance by the campers for families and friends. Small groups of similar-aged campers foster enduring friendships and support new friendships forming from summer to summer. Before you know it, your camper will grow up to become one of our enthusiastic and valued counselors!

    Looking to relax now that the school year is over? Just finish a morning sports camp and need a break? Campers will create several calming crafts such as paint pouring, paper rain cloud, calming jar, watercolor drops, doodling, and more. We’ll also learn a new type of friendship bracelet each day. At the end of the week, camper will take home a friendships bracelet making kit to keep creating all summer!

  • Songwriting Camp

    Girls and boys entering grades 5–8

    Instructor: Kelly Stallard, Admissions Administrative Assistant, The Bryn Mawr School
    Learn how to write a song from scratch! As a group, we will work on writing a new song every day. We will explore some of the ways that popular songs are put together, and some common tips and tricks for getting started. On the last day of class, we will have a recording session, and then shortly after class ends, families will receive digital copies of the songs.

    This workshop is for anyone who enjoys writing poetry, singing, playing an instrument, or collaborating on a creative project. No experience necessary! Students of all musical/writing ability and confidence levels are welcome.

    Bring your ideas to life in a combination of 3D design and technology! Create simple robots, two legged, four-legged and six-legged walking or crawling robots! 3Doodlers work by extruding heated plastic that cools almost instantly to become a 3D structure. Camp includes 3Doodler robotics kit with a 3Doodler Start pen, 3Doodler Start eco-plastic, activity book, and micro-USB charging cable.
