A New Landmark:
A signature "L-shaped" addition to Howell Building, completing our courtyard and creating a unified heart for the Upper School.
STEM Excellence:
Six state-of-the-art science labs with two spacious lab prep rooms and eight flexible classroom spaces designed for modern teaching and learning.
Collaborative Design:
Integrated "huddle spaces" specifically designed to encourage student teamwork and collaboration.
Inclusive Access:
Full ADA accessibility, ensuring every student and community member can fully engage in every aspect of the Upper School experience.
Sustainable Future:
A LEED Silver-certified project featuring sustainable mass timber framing, a green roof and substantial landscape upgrades to our historic campus.
Consolidated Support:
Space for essential student resources to come together in a single, accessible area.
Outdoor Connection: A larger Belltower courtyard and a dedicated green roof created to support outdoor learning, foster community gatherings, and strengthen connection to nature.
Enhanced Campus Flow: Expanded green space between Howell Building and KVB Gym, creating a seamless North-South pathway for simpler, more accessible travel across campus.

Where will classes be held during the construction phase?

To ensure an uninterrupted, high-quality academic experience, we will utilize custom-designed temporary science labs during the 2026–2027 academic year. These are not your average portable classrooms; they are modern, climate-controlled, and technology-rich spaces designed by the education experts at Hord, Coplan, Macht (HCM) to maintain the Bryn Mawr standard of learning.
