Summer Camp Information

Registration Opens on January 8, at 9 a.m.
Summer at Bryn Mawr offers a huge range of camps for every interest. Whether you love sports, arts & crafts, science, drama, dance (or all of the above!), we are the place for you. Enjoy long-running favorites like Creative Workshop, Sports & Crafts, and Kitchen Chemistry, or find a new interest in Paper Crafts, STEAM Dream, Cricut Crafting, or Popstar Dance!  Before and after care provided FREE of charge! Lunch is included for all full-day campers!

Morning & Afternoon Extended Care

Morning Extended Care is available for those enrolled in a morning camp, and Afternoon Extended Care is available for those enrolled in an afternoon camp. Students enrolled in a full-day camp may participate in either or both.
 
  • Morning Extended Care begins at 8:00 a.m.
  • Afternoon Extended Care ends at 5:00 p.m.

Lunch Program

All campers enrolled in a morning and an afternoon program will receive lunch at no additional charge.  Campers will enjoy lunch and recess from 12:30-1:30pm (included in the cost of signing up for an AM and PM camp). 

Cancellation Policy

A student's withdrawal from a camp before April 1 will result in a $100 cancellation fee for each camp. Withdrawal of a camp after April 1, but at least one week prior to the beginning of the camp, will result in a $150 cancellation fee for each camp. Withdrawing from a camp less than one week prior to the beginning of camp will result in a forfeiture of all fees. Bryn Mawr reserves the right to waive the cancellation fee on a case-by-case basis in extenuating circumstances.

    Description: Storytime gets a musical makeover in Song and Stories. We’ll enjoy singing and playing classroom instruments together. Campers will read and listen to engaging picture books and other short stories. Then, we’ll use the music we create to fully dramatize the stories! It's not just a camp; it's a stage for young storytellers and singers to shine!

    Trash to Treasure: Upcycled Art Camp

    Grades 2nd to 8th

    Description: Get ready to turn trash into treasure! In this camp, we'll take everyday objects that might otherwise end up in the landfill, and give them a new life as creative masterpieces. From plastic bottles to cardboard boxes, everything is fair game as we make one-of-a-kind works of art that are kind to the planet and oh-so-cool.

    Description: Each day, campers will play and create new pieces of music for the barred instrument ensemble, including xylophones, glockenspiels, and metallophones! Then they’ll take turns acting out scenes from a short story, with their collective creations providing the soundtrack. This camp is a musical journey woven into a tale of adventure and camaraderie!

Your children’s imaginations will soar as they choose among various opportunities throughout the program. Each session includes a performer, Surprise Day, Clash Day, and a performance by the campers for families and friends (will be recorded and shared for years of memories!). Small groups of similar-aged campers foster enduring friendships and support new friendships forming from summer to summer.     Safe Sitter®

    Grades 5th to 8th
    Instructor: Brought to BMS by Safe Sitter® / Alisha Caruso, BMS Lower School Technology Integrator
    Description: Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 5-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather. The lessons are filled with fun activities and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use CPR manikins to practice choking rescue! Safe Sitter® Course includes: safety skills, child care skills, first aid & rescue skills, and life & business skills.

    Description:     
    Campers will learn beginner hip-hop/ jazz style dances choreographed to the music of their favorite popstars! We’ll teach them the moves to dance on stage like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Madison Beer and One Direction! The final day of camp features a video recording of dancing showcase, where family and friends can watch at home the work done over the week.

    Description: This camp will give kids fun and exciting ways to challenge their brains. We will explore logic puzzles, develop inventions, and find creative ways to explore the world. Science, languages, history, and art will all be a part of the fun. We will even do an egg drop competition! Are you up for the challenge?
