Reunion Giving

Reunion Gift Award Alumnae participation in the Annual Fund is of vital importance to the school. The exceptional education that Bryn Mawr students receive each year happens only with financial support from alumnae.

Reunion Class Gifts are the cornerstone of alumnae giving. Alumnae are asked to celebrate their time at Bryn Mawr and to demonstrate their belief in the school by making an Annual Fund gift. Stretch gifts set a wonderful example for other alumnae and go a long way towards guaranteeing the success of the Annual Fund.

To recognize the special generosity of alumnae celebrating a reunion year, Bryn Mawr presents the following reunion gift award and prize to the class or classes that have rallied to their alma mater's call for support:

Reunion Giving in 2007

Last year's reunion-year alumnae, the '2's and '7's, set new standards for alumnae support of the Annual Fund. They raised more than $166,000 with an average participation rate of 55%. Thank you and congratulations!

Special thanks and recognition go to the Class of 1967 and Reunion Chair, Mallory Yearley Waterman. In honor of their 40th, the Class of 1967 raised $33,555 (check total) - earning them the Reunion Gift Award. Congratulations also to the Class of 1947 and Reunion Co-chairs Claire Krantz Ebeling and Jean Johnson Barry on winning the Reunion Gift Participation Prize for achieving 83% participation in their 60th reunion gift effort. This award goes to the class that raises the most money for Bryn Mawr 's Annual Fund in their reunion year.*

*Winners are chosen based on pledges and gifts received by the Saturday morning of Alumnae Weekend.
