Wendy begins her third year as the athletic director and her eleventh year as a full-time member of the Bryn Mawr faculty. In her time at Bryn Mawr, Wendy has committed herself to the growth and development of young women, serving as the Physical Education Department chair, a chief advisor, physical educator, and coach of various teams. Prior to working at Bryn Mawr, Wendy taught and coached at Roland Park Country School and Towson High School, compiling five A.I.S. Titles and one State Championship in Lacrosse.
In addition to her work at Bryn Mawr, Wendy is very involved with the sport of women's lacrosse at the national and international levels. Wendy was the head coach of the 1999 and 2003 US U-19 Lacrosse World Championship teams and will coach the team for a third time in 2007. Wendy also serves on various committees at US Lacrosse and was inducted into the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2003.
Wendy holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware in physical and health education. While doing her undergraduate work she also lettered in lacrosse. She holds a master's degree from Towson University in community health education.
Kim joined the Bryn Mawr faculty in January 2006 after spending 10 years at Georgetown University in various roles, including associate athletic director, head women's lacrosse coach, and head field hockey coach. Kim brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Bryn Mawr staff, with a special focus on leadership training and coaching. While coaching at the college level, Kim's teams enjoyed tremendous success, including eight births in the NCAA Tournament and three appearances in the Final Four in lacrosse.
At Bryn Mawr, Kim works with athletes, coaches, and teams in leadership development, team building, and coaching mentorship. She also advises and counsels student-athletes in a number of areas, including college recruitment, goal-setting and mental preparation. Additionally, she assists the athletic director in special projects and department planning.
Kim graduated from Princeton University in 1994 where she captained the field hockey and lacrosse teams and won a National Championship her senior year in lacrosse. She is currently an assistant for the U.S. Developmental Lacrosse Squad and was inducted into the Greater Potomac Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2005.
Susan has enjoyed working at Bryn Mawr School in the Athletic Department for eight years and she assists the athletic director in maintaining good communication with students, parents, and coaches. Ms. Hamilton also helps the Athletic Association and the Booster's Club in planning school events. Additionally, Susan supervises the Campus Rentals Program at Bryn Mawr.
Maggi has been working at Bryn Mawr since 1996 and has acted as a full-time certified athletic trainer since 2003. Prior to Bryn Mawr, Maggi worked for The Bennett Institute for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. Maggi received her bachelor's degree from Salisbury University and master's of science in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania. In addition to working at Bryn Mawr, Maggi works with numerous camps, clinics, and leagues in the Baltimore/Metro Area, as well as being a certified strength and conditioning trainer.
