On Wednesday, February 27, Bryn Mawr students and families participated in the Empty Bowls project, an international effort to fight hunger. Operation Smile hosted a Carnival in the Commons Room to raise money for an Operation Smile surgery. The organization made more than $200. Students played games (winning prizes that ranged from goldfish to stuffed animals), purchased food, and took chances on a 50/50 raffle. more...
